Coffee Panna Cotta

  • 1 1/4 cup cold milk
  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tbsp expresso powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Pinch salt


  1. Place the cold milk in a bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over and let stand for five minutes to soften the gelatin. 
  2. Bring cream, sugar and espresso powder to a simmer in a medium sized pot.
  3. Add gelatin and stir to dissolve.
  4. Strain into serving bowls, cover and refrigerate until set, about 3 hours.
