Ahmed Naveira is one of the leading mixologists of rum in Puerto Rico and is one of the island’s most well known bartenders. Naveira was born in Humacao on the western shore and started working with Rums of Puerto Rico since 1999.
Naveira’s field as a Brand Ambassador has lead him in his mixologist career to create the renowned and innovative cocktail menu of Perla Restaurant – a luxury seafood restaurant at the famous La Concha Hotel in San Juan. Naveira is also the CEO/Partner of his company Bar-Evo LLC – which specializes in bar products, food & beverage consulting, seminars, and staff training programs. He has participated in important culinary events such as: Puerto Rico Night in Congress at Washington, D.C., Tales of the Cocktails in New Orleans, LA, Taste of Tennis at New York’s Bar Show in Manhattan, NY, the National Harbor Food & Wine Festival in Maryland, the South Beach Food & Wine in Miami, FL, Iron Fork Miami, amongst many others.
